PIAS Kagurazaka Residence

The Akagi shrine is dedicated to the god of fire. As a compliment for a nearby building entrance hall interior, a calligraphy piece based on the character of “water” was created. In ancient Japanese thought, there are five essential elements Earth, Metal, Wood, Fire, and Water. Each element has an identity and value of its own, but it is the collection of all five elements together in harmony that signifies an enriched life.
PIAS神楽坂レジデンス
赤城神社の傍に建つこのレジデンスは、
赤城神社の「火」の神様に守られた建物。
そのエントランスホールに「水」を
モティーフにしたインテリアを作成。
「水金土火木」の五行のエレメントが
暮らしの潤いを醸し出す。
