2020 : Reflections

2020 was a year for reflection:

What is distance?

What is closeness?

What is spacing?

What is balance?

What is creativity?

2020 was a year for re-evaluation:

Can we embrace limits to achieve our goals?

Can we see the silhouette of the future in signs from the past?

Can we find solid ground even while everything is changing?

2020 was a year for rediscovery:

To pause.

To recall the past.

To recognize the value of invisible things.

To remember the value of forgotten things.

To reveal the value of things which had become ordinary.

In 2020, everyone paused. 

And in this stillness, the world changed. 

The future is not a longing for the return of the past, but the birth of a new chapter.

I look forward to seeing how this time of pause allowed the world to mature and grow.

I look forward to hearing the different ideas that arose during this time.

I look forward to jumping into the future with new points of view and giving form to each one of them.
