Tanoshii / Joy

On a bright orange background, the character in this piece, “raku”, appears to be dancing and moving toward the observer with a carefree air.
The character “raku” was originally used to describe a person who played a musical instrument for the enjoyment of an audience.
Today, when “raku” is written in a work of calligraphy, the piece instantly swells with a pleasant air and sets the observer at ease.
